overview at fidelity, i was embedded in a fast-moving, sprint-based analytics environment supporting one of the largest financial services firms in the world. the work was audit-heavy and precision-driven, extracting signal from thousands of applications, automating manual processes, and delivering data that compliance and engineering teams could act on with confidence. projects audit automation & bi dashboards manual auditing at fidelity's scale is a losing battle. i built two live interactive power bi dashboards to automate the change management and incident management auditing process across 8,000+ applications, saving 32+ hours per sprint and replacing a process that previously required constant manual intervention. data extraction & ad-hoc reporting used sql and python to extract, clean, and transform raw data into structured reporting for multiple audit cycles. delivered ad-hoc reports that saved 20+ hours of manual work per week, operating within a strict agile environment where speed and accuracy were non-negotiable. data lake auditing collaborated directly with data engineers, developers, and data scientists to audit the internal data lake, verifying pipeline architecture, data integrity, and governance processes end to end. aws infrastructure audit audited aws rds environments in coordination with stakeholders across 9 internal teams, covering 6 instance types and conducting rigorous tests across data security, backup protocols, and access management. increased audit efficiency by 55.4%. stakeholder engagement led weekly meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to define data sources, design test strategies, and establish risk controls, then dove deep into the data to analyze issues, document findings, and present actionable recommendations. impact 32+ hours saved per sprint through dashboard automation 20+ hours of manual reporting eliminated per week 55.4% increase in aws audit efficiency 8,000+ applications covered across audit frameworks skills demonstrated power bi · sql · python · aws rds · data auditing · pipeline verification · data governance · agile delivery · risk & controls · stakeholder management
